What to Expect at Your Appointment
Most retwists take about 1.5 to 4 hours depending on how many locs you have and how much new growth there is. Come with clean, dry hair unless you’ve booked a wash. We’ll check your roots, retwist each loc, and set them so they dry neat.
How to Keep Your Locs Healthy Between Visits
- Wait about 4 to 6 weeks between retwists to protect your roots.
- Sleep in a satin bonnet or wrap.
- Keep your scalp clean and lightly moisturized.
- Avoid heavy waxes and creams that cause buildup.
