Box braids are individual braids set in square or box-shaped parts. For men, they’re a sharp, low-maintenance style that lets your hair rest and still looks put together every day. We braid with your natural hair, or add extensions for more length and fullness.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
Most men’s box braids take 2 to 5 hours depending on your hair and the style. Come with your hair washed, dried, and picked out or detangled unless you’ve booked a wash. We’ll talk through size and parts before we start so you leave with exactly what you wanted.
How to Care for Your Braids
- Wear a durag or satin bonnet every night.
- Keep your scalp moisturized with a light oil.
- Don’t keep them in too long. Plan on 2 to 4 weeks for natural-hair braids.
